Rabies Clinic Delayed
The Prospect Park Board of Health is delaying the rabies clinic scheduled for March 31, 2015 due to issues with the State Health Department's rabies vaccine supply. The State Health Department has received reports of adverse reactions to its current rabies vaccine and has discontinued its use. Municipalities that use the State's rabies vaccine supply are recommended to postpone their rabies clinic until a new rabies vaccine is purchased and supplied to municipalities. Once a new vaccine is supplied to the Borough of Prospect Park, the Board of Health will reschedule and advertise the new date for the rabies clinic.
Additional updates will be provided here on the Borough's website, on the Borough Facebook page, and via Alerts2U notification. Residents with further questions can call the Prospect Park Board of Health at 973-790-7902 ext. 523 for further assistance.
