Please be advised that the Pavilion in Hofstra Park is undergoing improvements and will be unavailable for use until late May. Althought the Pavilion is unavailable, the children's playground areas are still accesible to the public. Further updates will be posted on www.prospectpark.net.

Municipal Offices will be closed on Friday, April 14, 2017 in observance of Good Friday. All Street Cleaning Rules are suspended. Borough offices will reopen at 8:30AM on Monday, April 17, 2017.

March 14, 2017 Snow Storm Municipal Updates
Due to the inclement weather predicted for Tuesday, March 14, 2017 all No Parking Rules are suspended, there will be no municipal court session and the Municipal Building will be closed on Tuesday only. In the event of a power outage, the second floor of the Municipal Building will be available as a shelter.
Public Hearing for Open Space Grant Application
The Mayor and Council of the Borough of Prospect Park will hold a public hearing on Thursday March 9, 2017, beginning at 5:30 P.M. The hearing will take place in the council chambers of the Prospect Park Municipal Complex located at 106 Brown Avenue, Prospect Park, NJ 07508. The purpose of the hearing is to obtain public comment on a grant application to be submitted to the Passaic County Open Space and Farmland Preservation Trust Fund for the construction of a concession stand within Hofstra Park. A brief presentation on the project will be made followed by a question and answer period. All residents are encouraged to attend and participate.
